I would think since it is a limb, that there is gonna be tension in the wood, so most likely your a gonna have to watch the boards as you cut, and as your getting thru the cut you may see the board start to lift, if so you may need to rotate the log often, and you may wanna cut thicker even a bit mo...

Well So far I'm only blessed with hitting nails and screws. The worst is when there are more then one and several inches apart, and then when ya finally get them dug out, and ya turn the log, ya find the other 2 on the other side.

I Hear ya Trull,, you just got lucky Bud with that blade and how you went thru those nails. I have hgit a nail just right and was able to keep going, , but its rare,, and somethin bout pine, if a blade is a lil dull or the set is out a pinch, due to a strike, it will dive or rise in them thare knots.

Well my 1st and biggest challange will be to hang the pump on the motor and being able to adjust belt tension, this will be the 1st thing i deal with, photos as I progress. I now have my photo bucket account goin again, so I may beable o post photos from there.
